ATPE member discounts give educators simple ways to save on travel and entertainment, especially when planning a trip. Mayra Gutierrez, an educational diagnostician in Weslaco ISD, recently took her family on vacation to Orlando, Florida.

“I did a lot of research before purchasing tickets,” Gutierrez says. “It was overwhelming, but then I remembered ATPE offered discounts.

“Tickets for Disney were about the same, but where it made a big difference was Universal, including the Express Pass. We saved about $500 by using Tickets at Work through ATPE. We also received dining credits and saved about $30 a day on a rental car using the ATPE discount code.

“All in all, it was a great experience and we saved some money. Who doesn’t like that?!”
