The 2024-25 ATPE Lookbook: Meet Texas’ Largest Community of Educators
ATPE proudly unveils the second edition of the ATPE Lookbook, a comprehensive look at the programs and benefits we offer, as well as a snapshot of the educators, volunteers, and leaders who form the heart of public education in Texas.
In this publication, you can learn about our association’s history and commitment to supporting our members with a robust set of professional resources. We proudly offer a wide variety of exclusive benefits, including volunteer, leadership, and networking opportunities, as well as numerous discounts on services and products that support our members’ personal and professional lives, adding even more value to their membership. In this publication, we also celebrate our members’ achievements and contributions by highlighting award winners, volunteers, local units, and newly elected state officers.
The ATPE Lookbook takes readers on a journey through the diverse services we offer, starting with opportunities for professional growth. Our newly redesigned Professional Learning Portal stands at the forefront, offering members access to a wide range of high-quality, on-demand courses that help educators earn continuing professional education (CPE) credit. In addition, the new ATPE Online Community offers a vital space for Texas educators to share resources, exchange ideas, and network with peers across the state to build lasting relationships that enhance their professional lives.
Legal support* is another cornerstone of our member benefits. In addition to the Educators Professional Liability Insurance Policy, our Member Legal Services Department provides a safety net for educators, offering valuable legal resources and guidance for navigating issues that arise in the course of professional duties. Whether they have questions about student discipline or understanding the complex legal landscape of public education, our members can rest assured knowing they have access to the support they need.
Additionally, ATPE plays a crucial role in ensuring teachers have a strong voice in the policies and decisions that affect their classrooms, schools, and professional development. Through advocacy, we work tirelessly to represent teachers’ interests at local, state, and even national levels. In this publication, we spotlight our voting resources, coalition building, and partnering with numerous educational, community, and advocacy groups to amplify their voice and create a united front on key issues.
We’re incredibly proud of the work our members do every day and the difference they make in the lives of Texas students. This edition of the ATPE Lookbook is a tribute to the passion, dedication, and strength of our educator community. This publication brings together everything we offer as an association and showcases the collective strength of our members, emphasizing how we champion the profession while advocating for the needs of educators and the students they serve.
