ATPE State President Jason Forbis expresses his sincere thanks to members for their dedication throughout the year and shares his excitement for the upcoming ATPE Summit in Austin, July 7–9.
Hello, ATPE family. I hope this video finds you doing well. My name is Jason Forbis, and I’m honored to serve as your ATPE state president.
First and foremost, I want to say thank you—thank you for everything you’ve done this year in your classrooms, your communities, your schools, and for our association. I truly appreciate all the work you do behind the scenes for your students, and I hope you have an absolutely amazing summer. I hope you’re able to rest, relax, recharge, and spend time doing the things you love and deserve.
One of the things I personally look forward to each year is our ATPE Summit. I would love to see each and every one of you there. Registration and hotel reservations are now open, so please connect with your local units and regions to get signed up and secure your accommodations. We want to make sure you have a place to stay when you join us in Austin this summer.
We’ve got some exciting things planned, including dynamic speakers and a variety of professional development sessions, and I know you won’t want to miss it.
Once again, thank you for all you do—for your students, for education, and for ATPE. I can’t wait to see you in Austin, July 7–9.
