Join ATPE at the 2026 Texas Tribune Festival

Educators may take advantage of special pricing to enjoy this three-day festival of ideas—and the opportunity to earn CPE credit at select sessions through ATPE.

Decisions about the future of Texas public schools are happening all around us, and no one speaks for Texas classrooms better than the educators inside them. That is why ATPE is proud to again partner with The Texas Tribune as a supporting sponsor of the 2026 Texas Tribune Festival this Sep. 24-26 in Austin. Discussions on policy, democracy, and the future of our state will take place over the three days, and we need a strong educator presence in the room.

Students and educators may purchase TribFest tickets for only $65 using education-affiliated email addresses. That’s an 80% discount just for students and educators! Groups of 5 or more can get an additional $5 off per ticket. Educators will find opportunities to attend:

  • Special meet-ups scheduled for students, educators, and journalists
  • Documentary screenings all day Friday, Sept. 25, at Austin’s Hyperreal Film Club
  • A special interactive experience Saturday called The Commons, featuring music, food, special presentations, and even an opportunity to show your support for public education at the ATPE tent
  • TribFest’s first official after party with CatchLight Live, offering an immersive photojournalism experience

Thanks to ATPE’s partnership with the Tribune, educators will also have the ability to earn continuing professional education (CPE) credit at select sessions.
