Stephanie Stoebe

Region 13, Round Rock ATPE

Region 13 ATPE director, president, vice president, and secretary; member, Board Finance Committee and Team Red strategy committee; chair, Public Information and Resolutions committees; member, Leader Development and Membership committees; member, 2019-20 Leadership ATPE cohort; Round Rock ATPE campus representative for 10-plus years; ATPE Summit and professional learning presenter. ATPE Member Advocate Program (ATPE-MAP) State-Level Advocate/Capitol Expedition attendee. One of two mentors in the 2013 ATPE Teacher Support Program, a pilot program that offered three tiers of in-person and online mentoring to teachers new to the classroom or their content area or grade level.

Current position:

Fourth grade teacher, Round Rock ISD

U.S. Army Veteran. Served four years as a German, French, Slovak, and Korean Interrogator. Education director for the Tom Green County Probation Department, helping young people on probation earn their GED. National Board Certified Teacher. 2012 Texas Secondary Teacher of the Year; 2012 Angelo State University Distinguished Scholar Award; 2017 Round Rock ISD Elementary Teacher of the Year; 2020 National Veterans Commendation. TEA Leadership Fellowship; National Writing Project Consultant; Teach Plus Texas Fellowship; and National Alliance for Equity in Education Partner. Have testified before Texas legislative committees.
